Role Purpose

The purpose of a Truck Unloader is to offload merchandise, materials, and supplies from delivery trucks efficiently and safely. This job requires the Unloader to check shipments for accuracy and inspect for signs of damage, as well as to unload, sort, stack, and store the items. The Truck Unloader may also be responsible for organizing the stockroom and preparing orders for shipment.

Truck Unloader Summary

The Truck Unloader is responsible for unloading merchandise from trucks and ensuring that all items are properly handled and stored. The Unloader will use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move items, and must also inspect items for damage. The Unloader must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. The Unloader will also assist in loading trucks, and will be responsible for ensuring that all merchandise is properly secured and labeled.
