About the Receiving Associate role

The Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently unloading, receiving, and stocking goods in the warehouse. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy. The associate must be able to lift and move heavy objects and work with a forklift.

Role Purpose

The purpose of a Receiving Associate is to safely and accurately receive, unload, and process incoming stock and materials for distribution and/or storage in a warehouse or similar environment. The Receiving Associate is responsible for verifying and maintaining records of all incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring that all materials are stored in the proper locations. The Receiving Associate also inspects shipments for damage or discrepancies and assists with resolving any issues that arise. Additionally, the Receiving Associate may be required to assist with other tasks such as inventory control and order fulfillment.
