A Parts Driver is responsible for delivering automobile parts to customers in a timely and efficient manner. They must maintain a safe driving record and ensure all parts are accounted for upon delivery. He or she is responsible for ensuring that parts and supplies are properly secured and handled with care. In addition, the Parts Driver must maintain accurate records of all deliveries and ensure that invoices are collected from customers.
Parts Driver Duties
- Drive vehicles to deliver parts and materials to customers, dealers, and vendors
- Load and unload vehicles
- Secure loads to prevent damage during transit
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
