A Charter Pilot is responsible for safely flying passengers and/or cargo in private aircraft or jets. The Charter Pilot must be able to fly a variety of aircraft, as well as understand the various regulations and safety protocols associated with air travel. Charter Pilots must have a Commercial Pilot’s License, a current medical certificate, and be able to pass a background check and drug test. Responsibilities include pre-flight checks, flight navigation, navigation planning, communication with air traffic control, emergency operations, and post-flight checks. Charter Pilots must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Charter Pilot Duties
