Car jockeys ensure that vehicles are parked safely and securely, and that they are delivered in a timely manner.

A Car Jockey is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles throughout a parking lot or automotive dealership. The Car Jockey's primary duties include staging vehicles, transporting vehicles to and from service areas and customer lots, and cleaning and inspecting vehicles. The Car Jockey must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to operate several types of vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks. The Car Jockey must also be able to communicate effectively with customers, service personnel, and other employees. Safety is essential, so a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are a must.
