The primary purpose of an Aviation Electrician is to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair aircraft electrical systems and components. This role requires knowledge and skill in electrical theory, principles and practices, and includes the use of a variety of test equipment and tools to identify, diagnose and repair aircraft electrical systems. The Aviation Electrician is also responsible for inspecting and certifying aircraft electrical systems and components to ensure they meet applicable safety requirements.
