They are responsible for developing and executing flight plans, monitoring weather and airspace conditions, obtaining necessary clearances, routing aircraft to their destinations, and providing timely and accurate information to pilots. Aircraft Dispatchers must also remain current on Federal Aviation Administration regulations and the proper use of aircraft systems and procedures.
Aircraft Dispatcher Summary
An Aircraft Dispatcher is responsible for the safety of passengers and cargo on board an aircraft. They are responsible for coordinating all aspects of a flight, including the flight plan, weather conditions, and aircraft performance.
