Role Purpose
The purpose of a Daycare Assistant is to provide assistance to the Daycare Director in the daily operations of the daycare facility, including supervising and caring for children, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, and helping to develop appropriate educational and recreational activities. The Daycare Assistant is also responsible for communicating with parents and guardians about their child's progress and needs, helping to develop schedules and activities, and providing assistance to other staff members.

The Daycare Assistant is responsible for providing quality care to children in a safe and nurturing environment. The Daycare Assistant must have strong communication and organizational skills and be able to work as part of a team. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with children, developing activities to encourage learning and development, and providing support to the Lead Teacher. The Daycare Assistant must also be comfortable with basic diaper changing and feeding tasks.
