This includes analyzing, identifying, and responding to CBRN threats, performing CBRN reconnaissance and detection, and providing technical support to CBRN operations. The Chemical Operations Specialist is also responsible for providing chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear subject matter expertise to commanders, staffs, and organizations. Additionally, the Chemical Operations Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise in the use of CBRN protective and detection equipment.

Chemical Operations Specialist Summary

The Chemical Operations Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining chemical processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner. They must be knowledgeable of chemical processes, safety protocols, and applicable regulations.
