The Blood Donor Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and retaining donors for blood donation in their local area. This position is responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining a pool of regular blood donors, and for executing strategies to increase donor participation. The Blood Donor Recruiter is also responsible for building relationships with local schools, businesses, and other organizations to promote blood donation. They serve as an ambassador for the organization and will act as a liaison between the donor and the donor organization. They must be approachable, personable and have excellent communication skills. The Blood Donor Recruiter must also have knowledge of current blood donation policies, procedures and standards.
