About the Stock Associate role
A Stock Associate is responsible for stocking merchandise and keeping the store shelves organized and well-stocked. They must ensure that each product is placed in its proper location and that shelves are neat and tidy. Stock Associates must also ensure that merchandise is not damaged or expired and that store policies are followed.
Role Purpose
The purpose of a Stock Associate is to ensure the accurate and timely stocking of merchandise in a store. This involves receiving and verifying new shipments, stocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and helping customers with product inquiries. The Stock Associate must also be familiar with store policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations. Additionally, the Stock Associate is responsible for performing basic housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and stocking supplies, and may be asked to help with other tasks such as bagging customer purchases.
Stock Associate Summary
The Stock Associate is responsible for maintaining inventory levels, stocking shelves, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
