The purpose of a Pool Attendant is to provide a safe and enjoyable pool environment for customers and guests. This includes ensuring the pool area is clean and free of debris, providing customer service in the form of answering questions about the pool, pool rules and regulations, and addressing any customer concerns. The Pool Attendant will also be responsible for enforcing safety regulations and responding to any emergencies that may arise in the pool area.

The Pool Attendant will greet guests upon arrival, monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules, respond to patron inquiries, and provide assistance to patrons. The Pool Attendant must have strong people skills and experience working with the public. The Pool Attendant must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and have strong organizational skills. The Pool Attendant must have a valid driver’s license and must be at least 18 years of age.
Pool Attendant Duties
- Clean and maintain swimming pool and surrounding areas
- Test and treat pool water to ensure chemical balance and proper sanitation
- Provide assistance to patrons using the pool
- Maintain pool equipment and report any malfunctions
