Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery. The Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, repairing, servicing and installing equipment and machinery, and performing preventative maintenance. The Mechanic will also be required to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and schematics, as well as keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in industrial maintenance, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently.
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Duties
- Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test and make adjustments
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and machines
- Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, and fixtures
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Assemble, install, and/or repair electrical equipment, wiring, and fixtures
