About the Filler Operator role
A Filler Operator is responsible for operating various machines and equipment to fill, cap, seal, label, and package products according to customer and/or industry specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of production processes and procedures.
Role Purpose
The purpose of a Filler Operator is to safely and accurately operate a filler machine to ensure the efficient filling of bottles, cans, pouches, or other containers with liquid, paste, or powdered products. The Filler Operator must also ensure accurate labeling and packaging of the products, as well as correctly record all production data. They must also be able to quickly detect and resolve any machine malfunctions or product defects.
Filler Operator Summary
The Filler Operator is responsible for accurately and safely loading, unloading and filling containers with product, according to company standards. This position requires good organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate must be able to follow instructions and work both in a team setting and independently. The Filler Operator must be reliable and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: operating filling equipment, maintaining clean and organized work areas, ensuring accuracy and quality of product, and reporting any issues to supervisors.
