Additionally, they must be knowledgeable in technical schematics, as well as have a strong understanding of safety protocols. Boilermakers must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively with other trades and engineers.
Boilermaker Duties
- Assemble, install, and maintain boilers, pipes, and pumps.
- Inspect boilers, pressure vessels, and associated equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
- Install and repair combustion, heating, and fuel control systems.
