This involves reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and other technical documents; working with hand tools, jigs and other measuring and testing equipment; and performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. The Assembly Technician must be able to follow instructions and safety protocols and have a strong attention to detail.

Assembly Technician Duties
- Assemble and install machinery, equipment, and electrical/electronic systems and instruments according to specifications
- Calibrate and adjust systems and instruments to meet specifications
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions
- Connect power supply wires and cables and direct wiring through conduit and other types of raceways
