About the Scrum Master role
The Scrum Master is a facilitator and coach for an Agile development team. The Scrum Master's primary responsibility is to ensure that the team follows the Scrum process, removing any impediments to the team's progress. They help the team to self-organize, self-manage, and make better decisions. The Scrum Master also works closely with the product owner to ensure that the product backlog is properly managed and that the team is working on the most important items first.
