The Recreation Aide may also be involved in providing instruction, organizing and supervising games and activities, and maintaining the facilities. The Recreation Aide should have excellent customer service skills, be able to work with diverse individuals, and have the ability to follow directions and work independently.

Recreation Aide Summary

Recreation Aide Job Summary: The Recreation Aide is responsible for providing support to the Recreation Department by helping to plan, organize, and implement recreational programs and activities. The Recreation Aide must be able to effectively communicate with staff, members, and guests and provide excellent customer service. The Recreation Aide will be required to work nights and weekends. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in recreation programs and activities. The Recreation Aide must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
