About the Caddie role
Caddie is a job in which a person carries the golf clubs and bags of golfers at a golf course, and sometimes gives them advice on playing the course.
Role Purpose
The purpose of a Caddie is to assist golfers in carrying their equipment, providing advice and guidance on the course, and helping to keep track of their score during a round of golf. Caddies also help maintain the golf course by raking bunkers and smoothing sand traps. This job requires a knowledge of the game, as well as excellent customer service skills.
Caddie Summary
A Caddie is a person responsible for carrying a golf player's clubs and providing other assistance during a round of golf. This includes providing advice on club selection, reading greens, and helping players with their shots. Caddies may also provide entertainment and conversation to make the game more enjoyable. Caddies must be knowledgeable about the rules of golf as well as etiquette and be able to keep up with the pace of play. They must also be able to carry the clubs for extended periods of time.
