Patient Transporters provide transportation services for patients to and from medical appointments and treatments. They assist patients with ambulation and ensure their safety while traveling. They also provide basic patient care, such as taking vital signs and providing comfort measures.

The purpose of a Patient Transporter is to provide safe and courteous transport services for patients and visitors to and from medical facilities. This includes transporting patients in wheelchairs or stretchers, transferring them to exam rooms, transporting them to and from diagnostic tests and treatments, and assisting with the transfer of patients to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs. The Patient Transporter is also responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients and visitors, as well as properly disposing of medical waste and maintaining the cleanliness of the patient transport vehicles.
