Role Purpose

The purpose of an Orthodontist Assistant is to provide support to an Orthodontist, who is a dental specialist that focuses on correcting misaligned teeth, jaw positioning, and facial structure. The Orthodontist Assistant is responsible for preparing the patient for their appointment, taking and recording vital signs, sterilizing and preparing instruments, assisting in procedures, and providing patient education. Additionally, the Orthodontist Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the patient's comfort throughout the appointment, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and helping to keep the patient's records up to date.

An Orthodontist Assistant is responsible for providing clinical support to an orthodontist in a variety of settings.
