About the Infection Preventionist role
An Infection Preventionist is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases in healthcare settings. The Infection Preventionist is also responsible for monitoring and evaluating new technologies, products, and processes related to infection prevention and control, as well as coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
