The purpose of a General Surgeon is to diagnose and treat a wide range of surgical conditions affecting almost any area of the body. This includes performing operations to correct physical deformities, repair damaged tissues and organs, diagnose and treat diseases, and manage complex surgical procedures. General Surgeons may also provide consultation services to other medical professionals, and work in collaboration with other specialists to ensure the best possible treatment for patients. In addition, they may provide pre- and post-operative care to ensure optimal outcomes.

A General Surgeon is a medical specialist who is trained to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of conditions and illnesses. The General Surgeon is responsible for performing surgical procedures on patients, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The General Surgeon must be knowledgeable about the anatomy and physiology of the human body and must be able to use a variety of surgical instruments. General Surgeon Duties
- Examine and diagnose patients to determine the type of surgical procedure needed
