The purpose of a Clinical Supervisor is to provide support, guidance, and leadership to clinical staff and to ensure excellence in patient care. This role involves providing training, mentoring, and feedback to clinical staff to ensure that they are delivering quality services, as well as developing and implementing effective clinical practice policies and procedures. The Clinical Supervisor is also responsible for monitoring performance, developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Clinical Supervisor Summary
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of quality, safe, and effective patient care. The Supervisor evaluates and monitors staff performance, provides feedback and coaching, and ensures adherence to policies and procedures. They are also responsible for participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, and communicating relevant information to staff. The Supervisor ensures a safe, secure and comfortable environment for patients and staff, and consistently demonstrates professional, ethical and legal standards.
