The purpose of a Clinical Laboratory Manager is to ensure the accurate and efficient operation of a laboratory by providing day-to-day oversight and management of laboratory personnel, procedures, and processes. This includes supervising and training staff; monitoring quality assurance; developing and implementing laboratory policies and procedures; and ensuring the safety of all laboratory personnel. The Clinical Laboratory Manager is also responsible for maintaining budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating with other medical staff to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
