An Anesthesia Technologist is responsible for providing support to anesthesiologists and other medical staff in the operating room. They assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care, as well as with the setup, operation, and maintenance of anesthesia equipment. Role Purpose
The purpose of an Anesthesia Technologist is to assist Anesthesiologists and Anesthetists in the preparation and delivery of anesthesia care to patients. They are responsible for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, setting up anesthesia machines and monitoring patients during anesthesia procedures. Anesthesia Technologists also provide technical support and education to other medical personnel during these procedures. In addition, they may be involved in research and development of new anesthetic techniques and medications.
