About the Biller role
A Biller is responsible for producing and sending invoices to customers and tracking payments from customers. They may also be responsible for reconciling customer accounts, processing payments, and resolving discrepancies.
The purpose of a Biller is to accurately generate and post bills to customers for goods or services provided. This includes verifying customer information, calculating fees and taxes, and entering data into accounting systems. A Biller must also be able to handle customer inquiries and respond to disputes in a timely manner.
A Biller is responsible for ensuring that customers' bills and invoices are accurate, complete, and timely. They are the liaison between the customer and the company, and must have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with both parties. Billers perform duties such as verifying customer information, reviewing billing documents, calculating and preparing bills and invoices, and processing payments. They must also maintain accurate records and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.
