The purpose of a Cleaning Machine Operator is to operate industrial cleaning machines to clean, sanitize, and deodorize carpets, floors, and other surfaces. The operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the machines in order to ensure that they are in proper working order and are producing quality results. The Cleaning Machine Operator must make sure that the machines are operating within the specified parameters and that the surfaces are being effectively and safely cleaned. Additionally, the Cleaning Machine Operator must maintain accurate records of the cleaning processes and must be able to troubleshoot problems as they arise.
