Building Maintenance Mechanic Summary
The Building Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the upkeep and repair of a building's mechanical systems, including plumbing, heating and cooling, and electrical systems. The Mechanic must inspect and maintain all systems on a regular basis, identify potential problems, and repair or replace components as needed. The Mechanic must have a thorough knowledge of the building's systems and must be able to diagnose and repair various problems. The Mechanic must be able to work independently and must be willing to respond to emergency calls when necessary. The Mechanic must be able to work within safety guidelines and must possess the technical knowledge necessary to maintain and repair building systems.
Building Maintenance Mechanic Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting
