The purpose of a Quality Control Engineer is to ensure that products meet all required standards of quality and performance. This includes inspecting, testing, and calibrating products to meet specifications, troubleshooting and resolving quality issues, developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, and conducting root cause analysis to identify and address systemic issues. Quality Control Engineers may also be responsible for creating and maintaining records of quality assurance processes, providing training and guidance to other team members, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
