About the Mechanical Designer role

Role Purpose
The purpose of a Mechanical Designer is to design, develop, and test mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by applying knowledge of engineering principles. They use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create and analyze designs, and also oversee the manufacturing process. Mechanical Designers are responsible for ensuring that products and systems meet performance and safety standards, as well as customer requirements. They also provide technical support, troubleshoot existing designs, and suggest modifications to enhance product performance.
