About the Circuit Designer role
Circuit Designers are responsible for designing and developing electrical circuit systems and products. They create designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software, troubleshoot and debug designs, and test prototypes to ensure functionality and performance. They analyze user needs, develop specifications, and develop and evaluate designs to meet customer requirements.
Role Purpose
The purpose of a Circuit Designer is to create, design, develop and test electronic circuits and components to ensure proper functioning in a variety of applications. This includes analyzing user needs, researching, designing, and testing systems, as well as developing, modifying and optimizing electronic circuits and components. The Circuit Designer must also troubleshoot and repair existing circuits and components when necessary. The position requires knowledge of electronic engineering principles, along with experience in circuit design and testing.
