About the Activist role

Activist Summary
The Activist job is responsible for advocating for social, political, environmental, and other causes on behalf of an organization or individual. The Activist will work to raise awareness and create dialogue about issues that are important to the organization or individual, and will develop strategies to promote their agenda. Responsibilities include researching and writing content for press releases, newsletters, and other media outlets; developing relationships with stakeholders; and organizing public events such as rallies and protests. The Activist must have excellent communication skills and be passionate about their cause.
