About the Academic Interventionist role

Role Purpose
The purpose of an Academic Interventionist is to provide targeted instruction to students who are struggling academically in order to help them reach their maximum potential. An Academic Interventionist will work with individual students or small groups of students to identify areas of academic difficulty, develop and implement interventions to improve student performance, and monitor student progress. An Academic Interventionist will also collaborate with the student's parents, teachers, and other school personnel to ensure that the student is receiving the appropriate support and resources.
