Role Purpose
The purpose of a Tile Setter is to install tile, stone, and other masonry materials to walls, floors, and ceilings in residential and commercial settings. Tile Setters must also be familiar with different types of tile and stone, as well as the tools and materials used to install them. A Tile Setter is responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in residential and commercial settings. Tile Setter Duties
- Measure, cut and lay ceramic, marble, stone and other types of tiles
- Install tile using a variety of methods and grouts
- Inspect and maintain existing tiles
