The purpose of a Pipefitter is to install, fabricate, maintain, and repair pipes and piping systems that are used to transport various materials, such as water, gas, steam, and chemicals. They also measure, cut, thread, and assemble new pipes, as well as connect them to tanks, pumps, and other components. Pipefitters are also responsible for ensuring that all systems are in compliance with local and state building codes and safety regulations.

Pipefitter Duties
