The purpose of an Electrical Helper is to provide assistance to an Electrician in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and components. This may include wiring, troubleshooting, and testing electrical systems. This position may also involve helping to install and repair lighting fixtures, switches, electrical outlets, and motors. The Electrical Helper may also be responsible for helping to maintain the inventory of electrical parts and supplies.

Electrical Helper Summary

The Electrical Helper works closely with qualified electricians to assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems. Responsibilities include carrying materials, holding ladders and scaffolding, unloading and loading tools, cleaning and organizing tools and materials, and performing other duties as assigned.
