A Bricklayer Helper is responsible for assisting Bricklayers with various tasks on construction sites. This position requires an individual with manual dexterity and physical strength, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. The Bricklayer Helper will transport materials, mix mortar, carry bricks, and lay out brickwork, among other duties. Other tasks may include helping to cut and shape bricks, using a level and plumb bob to check the alignment of bricks, and performing general cleanup of the work area. The Bricklayer Helper must follow safety procedures and work cooperatively with the Bricklayer and other members of the construction crew.
