Banquet Server Summary
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service, setting up banquet rooms for special events, providing food and beverages to guests, and assisting with all other related duties as assigned. The Banquet Server must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have experience in the hospitality industry. He or she must be able to multi-task, have excellent communication skills, and be able to follow instructions. The Banquet Server must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Banquet Server Duties
- Greet and seat guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, clear tables and reset for the next guests
- Set up banquet hall and ensure that it is properly stocked and clean
- Ensure that all guests are served in a timely and friendly manner
- Answer questions and provide information about menu items
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Perform closing duties such as restocking and cleaning
