Bakery Team Member Summary
A Bakery Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a wide variety of freshly baked goods in a retail bakery setting. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Bakery Team Member must be able to follow directions, take initiative, and work well with others.
The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to read, write, and understand English, and possess strong customer service skills. The Bakery Team Member must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to multi-task, and have a friendly, enthusiastic attitude. Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking and filling orders, restocking shelves, cleaning work areas, and following all safety and food safety protocols.
The Bakery Team Member may also be responsible for some baking duties, such as mixing ingredients, monitoring ovens, and decorating cakes. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
