An Auto Dismantler is responsible for the disassembly of vehicles for the purpose of salvaging parts and components. This position requires a deep understanding of automotive systems, components and mechanics. The Auto Dismantler is required to carefully and safely disassemble a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks and vans, while adhering to safety regulations and environmental standards. Additionally, the Auto Dismantler must be able to accurately and efficiently identify and assess the parts and components of the vehicles, as well as properly label and store them for sale or recycling. This position may also require the dismantling and packing of engines, transmissions and other large parts for shipping.
