Auto Body Mechanic Duties

- Straighten bent frames and align wheels
- Remove, repair and replace parts, such as headlights, bumpers and fenders
- Fill depressions with body filler, using putty knife
- File, grind and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
- Mix and match color paints to match the original finish
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces
- Reassemble and reinstall seats, windows, and accessories
