About the Farm Hand role

The purpose of a farm hand is to assist with the daily operations of a farm. This includes tasks such as planting, harvesting, caring for animals, maintaining equipment, and other tasks related to the day-to-day running of the farm. Farm hands may also be responsible for overseeing other staff members, helping with marketing and sales, and providing general customer service.
Farm Hand Summary
The Farm Hand is responsible for performing a variety of agricultural-related duties on a daily basis. This position requires a person to be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions. The Farm Hand must be able to operate farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, combines, spreaders, and harvesters. Other duties will include planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops, as well as tending to livestock. The Farm Hand must also be knowledgeable in safety and health regulations, as well as have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
