Conservation Officers perform a variety of duties including conducting scientific research, patrolling and surveying public lands, and educating the public on the importance of natural resources and conservation. They may also be responsible for issuing citations and fines, as well as responding to emergency situations and rescuing injured or stranded wildlife. Conservation Officers must possess strong knowledge of the laws and regulations related to the environment and the ability to communicate effectively with the public.
Conservation Officer Summary
The Conservation Officer is responsible for protecting and preserving the environment and natural resources of their assigned area. Conservation Officer Duties
