Role Purpose

The purpose of a Behavioral Clinician is to provide clinical services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. The Behavioral Clinician develops, implements and evaluates treatment plans that address the individual's needs and provide for the best possible outcomes. The Behavioral Clinician also provides case management services, providing support and resources to clients and their families. The Behavioral Clinician works with a team of professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.

Behavioral Clinician Summary

The Behavioral Clinician will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. The Behavioral Clinician will be trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques and will provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions. The Behavioral Clinician will also collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients, including providing referrals for appropriate services. In addition, the Behavioral Clinician will ensure client progress is monitored throughout the therapeutic process. The Behavioral Clinician must be familiar with regulations and ethical guidelines of the profession and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and assessments.
