Role Purpose

This role involves leading and organizing age-appropriate Bible study, worship services, and other activities, as well as counseling and disciplining children and parents. Children's Minister Summary
The Children's Minister is responsible for providing spiritual leadership to children and their families, developing and implementing spiritual programming, and creating an environment of Christian fellowship and service. The Children's Minister will work closely with the pastor and other church staff to create a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages. In addition, the Children's Minister will lead outreach efforts to families in the community and provide guidance to volunteers.

• Provide spiritual and educational leadership for children’s ministries
• Develop and oversee Sunday School programs, Vacation Bible School and other children’s activities
• Oversee and coordinate volunteers for children’s programs
• Recruit new members and nurture existing members and their families
• Plan and lead special events and activities for children and families
• Create and maintain relationships with other churches and community organizations
• Monitor and evaluate programs and activities
• Prepare and submit reports to the pastor and board of directors
