This includes cutting, shaping, and joining materials to form structures, creating frames for windows and doors, and constructing furniture, cabinets, and other wooden items. The Bench Carpenter must work accurately and efficiently to ensure that products meet quality standards and deadlines.
Bench Carpenter Summary
A Bench Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures such as furniture, shelves, and doors. This position requires a good knowledge of carpentry techniques, the use of hand and power tools, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The Bench Carpenter must be able to work independently, as well as with a team, and must have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects and materials.
Bench Carpenter Duties
