The purpose of a Chemical Applicator is to safely and accurately apply chemicals to crops and other areas in order to improve the health and yield of the crop. This may involve mixing and applying fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and other products as necessary and applying them to the crop. Chemical Applicators are also responsible for monitoring and inspecting the crop for signs of damage or decline in order to ensure that the chemicals are working as intended.

The Chemical Applicator is responsible for the safe and effective application of chemicals to agricultural, industrial and residential properties. This position requires excellent physical condition, as the duties involve long hours of standing and working outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions. The Chemical Applicator must have a valid driver's license and a good understanding of chemical safety protocols. The individual must be able to accurately read and follow written instructions, as well as use a variety of spraying and other application equipment. Responsibilities include loading, transporting and unloading chemicals, calibrating and adjusting application equipment, and preparing necessary paperwork. The Chemical Applicator must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Chemical Applicator Duties
