Camp Cook Summary
The Camp Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals for campers and staff at a camp facility. The Camp Cook is in charge of creating and following a menu, procuring and prepping food, portioning meals, and ensuring that all meals are prepared in a safe and sanitary manner. The Camp Cook must maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, as well as follow all health and safety regulations. In addition, the Camp Cook is responsible for managing food costs and ensuring that all food is ordered in a timely manner. The Camp Cook may also be asked to assist with other duties around the camp as needed.
